NY SOHO MEETS LAX METRO AS FINE ART GALLERY IS SET TO DEBUT IN THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY IN UPSCALE PORTION OF VENTURA BLVD.
New York photorealist Anthony Brunelli and child abstract artist Marla Olmstead highlight the opening exhibitions
Encino, CA – (March 1, 2005) – A StuART Gallery is set to open its doors to reveal a world of fine art to the Southern California and the San Fernando Valley. Set in an upscale Encino neighborhood, the new gallery features the works from New York photorealist Anthony Brunelli (www.anthonybrunelli.com) and new child abstract artist Marla Olmstead (www.marlaolmstead.com). “Our goal is to bring a new attraction to the block,” says Cherie Santiago, Marketing Director.
“The Simpson family is proud to announce the gallery’s grand opening - a marked culmination of their deep appreciation for art,” says Santiago. “This appreciation first blossomed while the couple was on their honeymoon over 36 years ago. Today, come share their passion.”
Expected to draw from as far as New York, Kentucky, Boston,Northern San Diego County, Santa Barbara and Palmdale, patrons are invited to browse the fine collections over a cup of hot cappuccino from the in-house coffee bar. A visit to the gallery will be the highlight of an explorative afternoon jaunt and add excitement to an evening stroll.
The diverse works of art will showcase both well-established artists, as well as those who have not yet had their work shown in an established gallery. “It is the desire of A StuART Gallery to encourage such artists by providing a venue for publicity and exposure,” Santiago explains. “Fellow artists are urged to create treasures for our local community to enjoy.”
To foster such growth, every month with a fifth Sunday will be highlighted with the introduction of a new artist, displaying a wide range of art, including traditional, modern, abstract, Judaic original, impressionist and photorealism, including photography.
“The invitation is open – for you to come and fall in love with pieces of art that touch your heart and move your soul, art that can be brought home to enjoy for generations to come,” says Santiago.
Doors are open: Sun: 1pm-5pm / Tues-Thurs: 11am-7pm / Fri: 11am-3pm / Sat: 8pm-10pm Located at 17946 Ventura Blvd., Encino, CA 91316, (between Zelzah and Newcastle) (818) 609-1772, www.astuartgallery.com
